4elements Living Arts, in partnership with the Township of Billings on Manitoulin Island | Mnidoo Mnising are seeking proposals for 7 permanent public art works:

The permanent outdoor sculptures will be part of an art and heritage trail on local bike, walking and river trails throughout the Township, funded by Canada 150.
The theme of the works is learning from the past, creating a shared future. Artists are invited to consider the relations between land, the environment, environmental history and reconciliation within the specific context of Manitoulin Island and Billings Township in particular.
The works will be selected by a community jury. Interested artists must submit a complete application package to be considered. We particularly invite Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatami artists to apply.
