Theatre Cambrian Songs of Summer Festival This Weekend!

Theatre Cambrian will be hosting its 4th annual Songs of Summer Music
Festival this weekend with events in Memorial Park on July 28, Theatre Cambrian on July 29 and Bell Park on July 30.
Songs of Summer begins at 12pm in Memorial Park on Friday, July 28 and will run until
10:30pm. The schedule is as follows:

1pm Tea and Whiskey
2pm Natalie Crispo
3pm The Committed
4pm Sugar Boom
5pm Be Here Now
6pm JoPo and the Rize
7pm Matt .Naveau
8pm Celine Tellier
9pm Larry Berrio
All events in Memorial Park are free to attend. Donations to Theatre Cambrian will be accepted. Fire Flame Jerk House will be onsite with some amazing Caribbean Cuisine, hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza will also be available along with cold drinks. Patrons are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a great day of live music.
On Saturday, July 29 the Canadian Stompper Taw Connors returns to Sudbury to perform an intimate concert at Theatre Cambrian, 40 Eyre Street. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7:30pm. The show will feature 33 of Stompin Tom’s songs and the stories behind these songs. The show will be performed by his son in a tribute to his late father during Canada 150 Celebrations. Tickets are $20 general admission and can be purchased at the Theatre Cambrian Box Office or by phone at 705-524-7317.
Songs of Summer concludes with the Bell Park Concert Series on Sunday at 7pm. This free concert in the William Bell Gazebo features Kassandra Bazinet who last year performed with Up With People on an international tour. Kassandra has also performed and acted in a number of plays supporting Theatre Cambrian and live theatre. Songs of Summer is supported by Heritage Canada, the Government of Ontario and Rocktown Automotive.
