On Saturday May 27th, 2017, the Sudbury Horticultural will host the 7th annual Sudbury Gardening Festival to celebrate gardening in Northeastern Ontario. The event will be held at the YMCA Centre for Life and Parkside Centre from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on that day. It will once-again include gardeningrelated vendors, exhibitors and speakers, as well as the Society’s spring plant sale and juried horticultural show. Each year we invite artists and crafters to book a booth at the Festival to sell gardening-related products that they have created. Outdoor booths will be available at the front of the YMCA building.

Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann Sudbury Irish Arts Association is a Registered Charity that promotes the arts in regards to Irish cultural traditions (dancing, singing, music, literature etc.) and is looking for an artist to work on painting, on plywood, the figures of an Irish immigrant family as they would have looked 150 years ago. The face area will be cut out so people can have their pictures taken as a family – by putting their own face in the cut out area (mom, pop and 2 kids for instance).
