Join us on beautiful Manitoulin Island for our River School Programs this summer! River School is a dynamic program combining arts and science methods to discover the Kagawong River. There are a variety of ways to participate in River school, including half-day, full day and week-long programs throughout July and August for both kids and adults. River School participants in our kids program will get their hands dirty examining invertebrates with microscopes, testing water temperatures, planting trees and canoeing on the upper river while letting their creativity bloom with clay creations, boat building, and more! Parents can spend the day relaxing in scenic Kagawong and even take advantage of discounts on paddle board, kayak and windrider rentals at North Wind Adventures. As a participant in our adult program, discover what the Kagawong River has to offer through canoe trips, photo documentation, drawing, watercolour, sound ecology, stories from local elders and more.
