2017 Summer Experience Program

February 6, 2017

The Summer Experience Program (SEP) provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, Indigenous organizations and First Nation communities in order to create meaningful summer employment opportunities for students.

SEP positions must focus on activities supporting key sectors within the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, including citizenship, voluntarism, seniors, women, tourism, culture, sport and recreation and offer training for future careers or work experience in skills transferable to the general workforce.

SEP guidelines are available on the Grants Ontario website: http://www.grants.gov.on.ca/GrantsPortal/en/OntarioGrants/GrantOpportunities/OSAPQA005131

Please review the Guidelines and Terms and Conditions in order to assess your organization’s eligibility and to familiarize yourself with the specific program criteria for hiring a summer student.

All applications must be submitted online, in either English or French through Grants Ontario, an online grant application system.

The deadline date for receipt of completed applications is no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday, February 28th, 2017.
